I develop software mostly for the Python/C++ platform. Until about two years ago, I used to write nearly exclusively C++ for scientific applications, Perl for scripting, and some Java.

  • empi: My image-processing library, for python and C++.
  • pointmap: Solver for self-organising point maps.
  • TomoPlane: A Chimera extension for displaying tomographic cut planes.

I am trying to make these things available real soon now.

How these pages were created:

The pages are written in a mixture of XML/XHTML and ReStructured text. Templating is done using ZOPE's TAL with a modified standalone TAL compiler/interpreter that incorporates ReST processing. Deployment is done using a Makefile to the intertiger, which is a virtual root server at a web hosting provider.
